Walking a Wilder Path of the Heart
About Me

Hi, I’m Linz…
I am here to listen, guide and lead from the heart
I’ve spent a lifetime learning to honour my sensitivity, innate curiosity and intuition while navigating a world that doesn’t always make space for them. I grew up in a loving environment, but as a highly sensitive and creative child, my full expression and depth of emotion were often unmet. My experiences in the relational world led me to shut down my aliveness, imprinting the belief that I needed to conform to feel safe and leaving me with a sense of otherness I did not fully understand.
I’ve lived a life filled with lots of love, laughter and adventure, yet underneath it all, a thread of grief and shame had been running through me that I simply didn’t have words for, but I felt it.
Over the years, I gradually reclaimed myself through various healing practices. The most profound being meditation, creativity and connection. This offered a glimpse into a new way of being – yet self-doubt and fear prevented me from fully trusting and making the changes I deeply longed for.
For many years I lived with one foot in the fast-paced demands of corporate leadership and the other in the quiet, deep spaces of meditation, creativity and embodied presence. That tension between external performance and a soul longing for something more meaningful is one I know intimately. That in-between space is exactly the space I now hold for others.
It wasn’t until my body forced me to stop – through burnout and then chronic fatigue – that I truly listened. Accepting that I had been stripped of the energy and identity I had relied on, I finally surrendered and began to rebuild my life, step by step, from the inside out. Although this recovery journey dismantled everything familiar, in hindsight it was a gift – a chance to integrate all I had learned over a lifetime, to listen deeply to my body, nurture my nervous system and align with what truly nourishes my heart.
This led me to retrain with The Somatic School, UK to become an ICF-certified Body-Orientated Coach. I chose this path because I know that real, lasting change begins not in the mind but in the body – in the felt sense, the nervous system, the lived experience.
I know this not because I studied it, but because I lived it.
The women I work with now are often standing exactly where I once stood. Capable, sensitive, high-achieving and exhausted from carrying it all.
And I know how to meet you there.
Others have described me as a ‘grounded sparkle’ and a ‘humble jewel’ – a presence that’s warm, authentic, wise and fully present. I bring humility, strength and honesty that invites you to show up exactly as you are. I hold space with skill and heart, offering permission to meet yourself completely – messy, tender, wise and whole – with all the complexity and grace that entails. You’ll find structure, clear boundaries and reliability here, alongside presence, empathy and a space free from judgment.
If life has ever felt like it’s running you, I understand. I’m here to help you reclaim your voice, listen deeply to your body and step fully into a life that truly fits.

My Learning Path
My personal growth journey spans more that 25 years. My desire to learn and evolve hasn’t stopped. What you see is what you get with me. I won’t pretend I have it all figured out, which means I will always meet you where you are.
Some things about me that have shaped my work
- I was a scientist for 15 years. Naturally inquisitive, I think logically and strategically and I am equally grounded, embodied and feeling. I honour the intelligence of both the body and the mind and I bring both into this work.
- I have been the Investigator, the Risk Assessor and the Wellbeing Advocate. Across two decades of professional life I built successful careers around observation, asking deeper questions and looking beneath the surface – identifying what’s working, what isn’t, tracing it back to the root cause and finding a better way. Helping others has always been at the heart of everything I’ve done. As a coach, this same instinct shapes how I approach our work together.
- I am an experienced meditator. Over many years I developed a deep personal practice, and created and delivered a mindfulness meditation programme in the corporate workplace. I understand the profound and simple power of this practice and it is woven into everything we do together.
- I know what it feels like to be on a treadmill you can’t get off. Showing up, performing, holding it all together while being pulled in every direction and running on empty. That’s why when you arrive in our sessions you don’t need to perform or hold anything together. This is the one place you can just stop.
- I know what it feels like to lose the ground beneath your feet and find it again. I have navigated loss, grief, endings and new beginnings many times over — in work, in relationships, in health, in home and in family. Each time I have had to find my way back to myself. That lived understanding of transition, in all its forms, is at the heart of how I hold space for you.
- I understand the grip of unhealthy coping strategies. In 2016 I made the best and one of the hardest decisions of my life – to embrace sobriety and all the challenges that come with that. I know how scary it is to face feeling it all without numbing. I bring that understanding and compassion into every session. You will never be judged here for how you have coped.
- I have lived the body’s capacity to heal. I learned Reiki energy healing and got myself off toxic medication for joint pain and inflammation. I navigated burnout and chronic fatigue recovery – a condition affecting 400,000+ people in the UK (many undiagnosed – source), with full recovery in adults reported as rare. I know how hard it is when your body is struggling and the world expects you to keep going anyway. I get it. You don’t need to explain. How we work will always honour where you are.
- I was born to do this work. In Human Design I’m a Projector – here to guide. My unique blueprint and life’s work is to listen deeply, see patterns and lead from the heart. It means when we work together you are being guided by someone who is genuinely wired for this, not just trained in it.
- I am endlessly curious and I make no apology for it. From spreadsheets to intuitive art, lab science to sacred geometry, trauma theory to ancestral wisdom, Jungian psychology to Human Design – I follow what lights me up across wildly different worlds. My values are freedom, integrity, creativity and fun. What this means for you is a genuinely wide lens and a coach who is open-minded and will never find you too complex, too contradictory or too much.
- I know the vulnerability of being truly seen. I reconnected with my creativity after years of suppressing it and exhibited my work publicly as an intuitive and conceptual artist. That experience taught me the courage it takes to share your inner world and it was through this creative process that I discovered I was already working somatically, creating from the inside out using an embodied felt sense rather than conscious design. The body was always leading. That understanding is now at the heart of how I coach.
- I followed my intuition into the unknown. I had never practiced Kundalini Yoga before I trained as a teacher but something in me knew to dive deep. That leap brought profound personal healing and deepened my somatic and energetic practice. It taught me to trust the body’s wisdom over the mind’s hesitation and that trust is at the heart of everything we do together.
- In 2024 everything converged. I took voluntary redundancy and committed fully to retraining as a Somatic Coach and a Creative Therapist. Everything I had lived, learned and survived brought me here. This isn’t a career change, it’s a calling.
